October 9th 2019 saw us present our first exhibition stand attending Grand Designs Live at the NEC, Birmingham. Designed, built and manned by the DS team the show was attended by an excess of 60,000 people over the five days.
The stand consisted of all our own products such as the Glulam portal frame and engineered James Jones I-Joists (OSB Web) and Mitek Posi-joists (Metal web) which created the two storey structure of our stand and a main staircase with mini flights surrounding it, showcasing some of our best styles in flight construction and balustrade options.
The response we had at the show was over-whelming with many people, public, orgainisers and fellow exhibitors coming up to us commending us on our stand, work ethic and attitude. We were even visited by the main man himself, Mr Grand Designs, Kevin McCloud!
The show has already generated an amazing quantity of leads and even a couple of orders! Really enjoyed the show and can’t wait for the next one! Stay tuned for announcements on where we’re going next!
